- ➤ Mount La Crosse launched an adaptive skiing program in partnership with the National American Squirrel Association to help people with disabilities enjoy the slopes. Sunday marked the first of two events that provided specialized equipment (sit-skis and slide-ski tether systems) and tailored support for about 15 participants and their families. News8000
