EDUCATION NEWS

  • Holmen schools will ask voters to decide on a $4.5M referendum to support operations, maintenance + safety, and educational programs with no tax increase. The measure aims to keep local school services running smoothly.  La Crosse Tribune
  • Sparta School District scheduled three public meetings—Feb. 25 and March 18 at Sparta High School and March 19 at Sparta American Legion—before the April 7 referendum to review plans to increase revenue limits for student resources.  WIZM

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Several major downtown buildings may soon connect to a central power source after a feasibility study led to innovative microgrid plans.
