  • The La Crosse Symphony Orchestra announced its 2026 Conductor Wannabes competition where local non-profits will be highlighted during a Saturday performance and online voting runs until April 27 at 11:59 p.m. Angela Newman (of The ALS Foundation) competes to raise ALS awareness.  WIZM
  • Residents gathered downtown yesterday to celebrate the 18th Annual St. Patrick's Day parade and honor the late IrishFest founder (local organizers led heartfelt tributes during the festivities).  News8000
  • The La Crosse Center hosted the 3rd Annual Ho-Chunk Founder's Day Pow-Wow on Mar. 14, where traditional dances and crafts celebrated Ho-Chunk heritage. The event highlighted cultural traditions in a festive community setting.  News8000
  • Rainbow Ridge Farms in Onalaska was nominated for the Governor’s Tourism Bright IDEA Award by the Wisconsin Agricultural Tourism Association because its accessible goat hike now lets visitors of all abilities enjoy a unique rural experience (via battery-powered chairs from its partnership with N.a.s.a.).
