Tammy Baldwin led a roundtable discussion in La Crosse on Monday with parents who worry about proposed cuts to Medicaid and other service programs—she criticized Elon Musk for calling Social Security a Ponzi scheme. • Early voting begins today in Wisconsin for an April 1 election that will choose a state education leader and decide whether to add the photo ID rule to the state constitution. HEALTH NEWS

  • The La Crosse County Health Department urged parents to have their children tested for lead poisoning after 14 cases were confirmed in 2024 and many young kids remain untested.
