- ➤ Loretta Hass (candidate for the board) detailed her plans in a Q&A to boost school consolidation, update teacher technology, and enhance diverse representation as early voting is underway ahead of the spring election ending April 7. WIZM
- ➤ Trevor Sprague, one of six School Board candidates with early voting open until April 7, stressed his local roots and the need for better teacher support and facility efficiency by advocating inflation-indexed raises and flexible property use — a plan aimed at enhancing local education. WIZM
- ➤ Students at Logan High are building a tiny home on campus to learn home maintenance and cooking. The project has received community material donations + expert help and will be used next year to teach life skills. WIZM

- ➤ Lawmakers are proposing rules to limit mega transmission construction by requiring the Public Service Commission to use utility land or bury lines underground near highways and railroads (the proposal comes after pushback on the 140-mile Maribel project, with Dairyland Power reviewing the plan). - ➤ The City of La Crosse announced that the Isle La Plume Yard Waste & Brush site will open Monday, March 30 at 10 a.m. due to heavy snowfall, while its regular hours remain and residents need a new $25 seasonal permit per vehicle. WIZM
