- ➤ Copeland Park announced it will not hold its spring concert at Logger Field, so music fans may see fewer shows this season. At a La Crosse Center board meeting this week, director Jay Odegaard said hiring more sales staff could help the center overcome a $400,000 loss from last year and book events that fit its arena holding 8,000 people — a change that may bring more concerts and funds in the future. The champion cheese will be crowned at the end of March, and locals are encouraged to check for the Proudly Wisconsin Cheese label to support their makers. News8000
