- ➤ Today, Beyond the Bridge: A Solution to Homelessness plays at 6 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Onalaska to show how communities are addressing homelessness. Sponsored by Pathways Home and the Coulee Homeless and Housing Coalition, the film reflects local efforts discussed by La Crosse’s Homeless Services Coordinator. WIZM
- ➤ Grammy award-winning singer Lyle Lovett will open Viterbo University’s Bright Star Summer Season (performing with his Small Large Band and special guest Hayes Carll) on Saturday, July 11 at 7:30 p.m. at the Fine Arts Center Main Theater; tickets went on sale online and in person on Wednesday, April 15. - ➤ La Crosse’s Kiwanis Club held a scholarship luncheon Tuesday at the Radisson to honor seniors from 10 local schools. Winners received a $500 gift card (plus plaques and balloons) as part of a 50-year tradition, with schools nominating students for their strong character. WIZM
- ➤ Longfellow Middle School is using VR headsets to show seventh-graders videos of Holocaust survivors and concentration camp scenes for a two-week lesson (the grant was provided by the Illinois Holocaust Museum). The immersive experience helps students learn history in a powerful, realistic way. WIZM

30th Annual La Crosse Area Mayoral Prayer Breakfast
7:29-8:45am – The Radisson Center – Tickets required, $20 – This event brings the community together for a meaningful morning of honoring and praying for our local leaders, along with breakfast and a keynote speaker. Tickets are available only through April 30.
