- ➤ Fire crews responded to a grain bin silo fire at La Crosse Milling Company on Tuesday, Apr. 21 and quickly contained a blaze in a bin holding about 100 tons of oats (assisted by several local departments). News8000

- ➤ Holmen Police confirmed that 17-year-old Grant Bires was found safe after his vehicle was last seen on I-90 near Sioux Falls at 10 a.m. Monday & arrangements are underway to reunite him with his family. News8000

- ➤ Local author Amanda Zieba led a creative writing workshop for more than 40 Aptiv participants (in La Crosse) that built confidence and self-expression skills in people with disabilities. Organizers report the session also improved communication and self-advocacy abilities. News8000
