- ➤ Students from La Crosse’s Health Science Academy spent Tuesday morning at the former fire station on Monitor Street building custom cat scratching posts for Coulee Region Humane Society—this work is the second phase of the Mugs for Rugs program that collected more than 100 rugs from seniors and aims to build 40 posts.
