- ➤ A Black River Falls man with nine previous OWI convictions was arrested on April 14 at a West Salem Kwik Trip and now faces felony charges for his 10th OWI, operating with a restricted controlled substance, and possession of narcotic drugs—police found fentanyl after he initially refused field sobriety tests and he is held on a $1,000 cash bond. - ➤ Economist Adam Hoffer spoke on WIZM’s La Crosse Talk, where he explained that Green Bay will host the NFL draft with an estimated $90 million overall impact—$20 million in Green Bay—and discussed how Wisconsin loses hundreds of millions in tax revenue from weed sales.
