- ➤ Coulee Recovery Center hosted its 10th annual Voices for Recovery fundraiser on Sunday in Onalaska to raise awareness about addiction and support local recovery programs. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Saturday's Drug Take Back Day event outside the La Crosse County Health and Human Services building had a strong turnout as residents dropped off expired, unused, or unneeded medications and learned about safe disposal methods. Health educator Laura Runchey (La Crosse County Health Department) said law enforcement collected the drugs for transfer to the DEA and final incineration in New Jersey, and a second event will be held this fall.
