- ➤ La Crosse Housing Week kicked off Monday to raise awareness about local housing challenges and promote potential solutions through panel discussions, walking tours, trivia nights and happy hours. A recent study said the city must add 203–232 new housing units annually through 2030 to meet demand and support economic growth. News8000
- ➤ Residents in La Crosse can register for the 20th Annual Steppin' Out in Pink walk to support breast cancer research. Early registration costs $20 until June 27+ the walk is set for September 13 with all proceeds benefiting the Gundersen Medical Foundation. News8000

- ➤ The Mississippi River crested in La Crosse on Friday night at 8.37 feet and dropped to 7.8 feet Sunday night—forecasters say it will recede to 7 feet by late Thursday. In addition, they expect the river to crest in Lansing late Sunday and for it to rise another foot before cresting Tuesday morning in Prairie du Chien. WIZM

- ➤ Mac Kiel— a former city council member who spent seven months on the working group— explained in the studio that the Judiciary and Administration Committee will vote on two city administrator agenda items today at 6 p.m. He discussed the need for more public input and reviewed the working group's progress in studying the role.
