- ➤ Today the Wisconsin DNR reminded anglers statewide that the general inland fishing season opens—letting local residents begin fishing while following state rules. La Crosse Tribune
- ➤ A La Crosse city council committee approved a downtown extension to the King Street greenway project using nearly $600,000 in funding to add signs and pavement markings along King Street from the riverfront to 7th Street—designed to encourage safer walking and biking.
