- ➤ Onalaska's Farm Fresh Market held its second event Sunday at its new location—2928 Market Place—where more than 20 local vendors sold produce and handmade goods. The market will operate every Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. through October 26 to support local producers. News8000
- ➤ Ecker's Apple Farm + Schwertel Family Farms hosted the first Schwecker Fest in Trempealeau where community members enjoyed live music by DJ Onedrop and Flashback, cold drinks, and food like cheese curds and fries. Organizers said the event will become an annual spring celebration. News8000
- ➤ Pigeon Falls veteran Reynolds Tomter celebrated his 108th birthday on Sunday as family and friends gathered to honor his life—he recalled his service days and his work making sweet treats for his crew.
