- ➤ Vendors, families, and community members gathered in Cameron Park Sunday for the grand opening of a new weekly market featuring fresh produce, art, and handmade crafts. Organizers said the event marked a step toward downtown revitalization and the market will run Sundays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. until October. News8000
- ➤ More than 100 youths learned fishing skills at Goose Island during the Youth Fishing Classic on Saturday — local volunteers taught casting techniques and assisted new anglers while providing prizes and a meal. Organizers said they are planning improvements for next year. WIZM

- ➤ Moon Tunes returns Thursday, June 4 at Riverside Park with live music featuring The La Crosse Confluence — a high school collaboration ensemble launching this weekly event. The free event accepts donations to support Rotary programs and will have boats anchored along the river. WIZM
