- ➤ Governor Tony Evers signed the $111.1 billion biennial budget early Thursday morning after it cleared the legislature to fund K-12 schools, the UW system and child care. Lawmakers rushed to pass the plan before federal changes cost hospitals $1.5 billion—showing bipartisan compromise—and tax cuts now total more than $12.6 billion for working and middle-class families. - ➤ The Wisconsin DNR created a new online tool called the Wisconsin Fishing Finder—an interactive map of 15,000 lakes and 42,000 miles of streams that also provides fishing regulations and boat launch information.
