- ➤ Police and volunteers continue to search for 22-year-old Viterbo grad student Eliotte Heinz, who disappeared early Sunday when she was last seen walking on Front Street South at 3:22 a.m. as drones and dive teams scan the Mississippi River near the blue bridges—family members urge anyone with tips to come forward. - ➤ 23-year-old corrections officer Christopher Loecken—accused of domestic battery and strangulation—was arrested in Black River Falls on July 20th after deputies received a call from a woman about a domestic incident, with Trempealeau County deputies assisting due to a conflict of interest.
