- ➤ Veterans can buy two $5 reduced-fee tickets for Irishfest from La Crosse County’s Veteran Services Department at the Health and Human Services building on 300 4th Street North in La Crosse & tickets are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. while supplies last for single-day entry to the event from August 8 to 10 at the Southside fest grounds. - ➤ Cyclists rode Saturday morning on the La Crosse River State Trail in the Ride for Sight event hosted by the La Crosse Lions Club—riders took routes from 12K family trails to a 100K road ride through the bluffs—and helped raise funds for vision projects that support children’s vision screenings.
