- ➤ Holmen police are searching for William Charles Brink—56 from Melrose—after he robbed a BP gas station on Holmen Drive Thursday night and fled into the marsh near Goose Island Park following a high-speed chase that nearly struck officers and pedestrians near Highway 35 and County Road OT. WIZM

- ➤ William Charles Brink, 58, from Melrose was arrested Saturday on State Road 35 near WKTY towers after a police chase that began with a Holmen BP gas station robbery at 7:09 p.m.—he is now held in La Crosse County Jail and faces charges of robbery with force, battery, fleeing officers and endangering safety.
