- ➤ Westby Cooperative Creamery announced a $14.1M project to modernize its cottage cheese production and boost capacity by about 50% in Westby. The upgrade will add four new enclosed vats — replacing older equipment to help the creamery remain the only one of its kind in Wisconsin. La Crosse Tribune

- ➤ UW-La Crosse Chancellor James Beeby welcomed students back to campus Wednesday morning with his first address since he took charge earlier this year.
