- ➤ Gov. Tony Evers hiked with Hamilton students in Hixon Forest on Friday as part of his back-to-school tour in La Crosse — where he explained that more teachers are staying in the profession. - ➤ Fifteen young people, including 17-year-old Kaarina Dunn from Onalaska, filed a lawsuit on September 8 arguing that state laws block changes to cut fossil fuels and protect winter traditions — laws that limit renewable energy expansion.
