- ➤ Local organizers will hold the 2nd Annual Grape Stomp today in La Crosse — the event will feature grape crushing and wine tasting as part of a community tradition. News8000
- ➤ La Crosse will start Oktoberfest celebrations on Friday with the Tapping of the Golden Keg ceremony at the south side fest grounds—thousands are expected and a tribute to late Festmaster Karl Friedline will mark the event before community beer toasts led by Festmaster Brent Smith.
