- ➤ Nonprofit CouleeCap in La Crosse received over $750,000 in federal HUD funding to expand its selective housing program for people who have been homeless for a long time—helping them get safe housing and care. The program, which assisted 48 unsheltered individuals in the past year, will use the money for rental help, deposits and staffing. WIProud
