- ➤ The La Crosse Salvation Army started its holiday bell ringing fundraiser on Friday at Festival Foods in the Village Shopping Center—attended by local leaders like Rep. Van Orden and the school superintendent. The effort aims to raise $400,000 with kettles set up in La Crosse, Bangor and West Salem to support local services. WIZM
- ➤ The Marine Credit Union Foundation donated $10,000 on November 7 to Eau Claire’s Feed My People Food Bank and La Crosse’s Hunger Task Force to help provide families with nutritious meals this holiday season—each dollar buys two meals as noted by CEO Tom Knothe.
