- ➤ Pla-Mor lanes in La Crosse has provided a spot for bowling and community fun for 60 years after opening in 1965 above the Popcorn Tavern on 4th Street. The bowling alley will celebrate its anniversary week with tournaments, a triathlon, and a free cake cutting on August 15th — events that show its ongoing support for local youth and school trips.
